A Time to Be Thankful … Cooler weather has finally arrived, and it feels good! The almanac is forecasting a rough winter, but we’ll just have to wait and see what Mother Nature has in store for us.
November is here, the first of the two busiest months of the year, and there’s certainly no shortage of things to do. Here in Louisiana, the festivals are still going strong, holiday parties are getting underway, families and friends are gathering, and the kids have plenty of activities and events happening at school. There’s always something going on this time of year!
It’s also a special time for family, traditions, and Thanksgiving. Of course, we look forward to gathering around the table and enjoying all that wonderful food, but Thanksgiving is about so much more than what’s for dinner. It’s a time to pause, reflect on our blessings, appreciate the people who make our lives special, and remember the importance of giving thanks.
In the midst of all the hustle and bustle, let’s not get so caught up in our busy schedules that we forget to enjoy the little things. Take time to laugh, make memories, lend a helping hand, and let those you love know how much they mean to you. We may also remember the very first Thanksgiving feast in 1621 as the Pilgrims and Indians celebrated by sharing that event. The reason for the season …
Wishing you all a special November filled with family, friendship, happiness, and plenty of reasons to be thankful! And, as we always say, when you share your love, it comes back to you in more places and ways than you can imagine … please just do it!
Happy Turkey Day, ALL,
