A FAMILY FAVORITE!!!
INGREDIENTS:
4 Chicken Breast with or without skin
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
4 minced garlic cloves
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 stick butter, diced into small pieces
Zest whole lemon
Juice of one lemon
One can of chicken stock
DIRECTIONS
1. Put chicken in bottom of your slow cooker or roasting pan.
2. Blend chicken stock, lemon juice, and zest, and pour over the chicken.
In a small bowl, combine Italian seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle the spice mix over the chicken. Add minced garlic and diced butter over the top.
3. Cover the crock-pot and cook for 6-8 hours on LOW. Or in roaster 1 1/2 hours in oven at 350 degrees or until chicken is tender.
4. Remove chicken and make gravy with broth.
5. Serve with chicken and rice with gravy and roasted broccoli or favorite vegetable on the side.
