This will give your tongue a tingle and bring your belly so much joy!!!
Ingredients:
• 3 large onions
• Olive oil
• Herbs de Provence
• 6 cups beef stock
• Salt and pepper
• French Bread sliced and toasted
• Provolone Cheese (I buy them in the presliced circles for ease in prepping)
Directions:
Slice onions and saute with oive oil in crock pot for an hour or so. Until carmalized.
Add beef stock and salt and pepper taste.
Cook until broth cooks down and onions become incorporated to your liking. (I like the flavors to be well blended so I cook on high for at least an hour, cooking to add flavor)
Put soup into oven safe bowls and top with toasted French Bread and slice of Provolone Cheese on top.
Place in hot oven to melt cheese until slightly browned.
