You don’t have to be a Chef to do this one! This meatloaf is a “dump” recipe; anyone can do it and your whole dinner is done in less than an hour and a half.
The best thing about meatloaf is it’s comfort food. People love good meatloaf and this one is easy to prepare, easy to cook, and very easy to eat. We are doing garlic packaged potatoes and Chef Matt’s (Head Chef, The Bentley Room) Green Beans.
Spray casserole dish with olive oil spray.
In bowl add:
2 lbs. ground beef
1 1/4 cups seasoned bread crumbs
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
Salt, pepper to taste
1/2 can of Hunt’s Meatloaf Sauce
Mix all ingredients in bowl and mold into rectangle. Cook for one hour in oven at 400° . Remove from oven and remove all grease. Pour remaining sauce on top and put back in oven for 10 minutes. Remove, slice, and serve.
With the mashed potatoes, follow instructions on the bag and add a dollop of butter on top.
CHEF MATT’S GREEN BEANS
Brown chopped bacon (three pieces) and remove the grease. Add clove of chopped garlic. Drain water from can of green beans and add chicken broth and one tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce. These are really good!
Bon appétit … Chef Dief
