This dish is one of my favorites! I could eat it every day. It is inspired by my many visits to la Madeleine in New Orleans. If you love strawberries, this will become one of your go to recipes. Simple and delicious!
1/2 cup sour cream
3 tbls. brown sugar
1 ounce Courvoisier
1/2 cup heavy cream
3 tbls sugar
16 ounces strawberries – cleaned and sliced
Take half a cup of sour cream and 3 tablespoons brown sugar and mix in bowl with 1 ounce Courvoisier. In another bowl, add 1/2 cup heavy cream and 3 tablespoons sugar; whip until thick. Fold cream into sour cream mixture, then mix well. Slice strawberries, place in small bowl, cover in cream sauce and eat with a fork. Makes 6 bowls! Bon appétit! Strawberries Romanoff à la Chef Dief!
