You may have thought turkey was only for Thanksgiving, but get ready for a treat. These Turkey Tenders are melt in your mouth good and easy to make. Enjoy this treat any time of the year.
3 cups vegetable oil
4 turkey breasts
2 cups flour
1/2 cup poultry seasoning
3 tbsp. dry ranch dressing seasoning
Dash Lowery’s Seasoned Salt
1 pint buttermilk
1 egg
You can use a fryer or a cast-iron skillet to fry the tenders. Bring the oil to 350°. In a flat casserole dish, add the buttermilk and whisk in the egg. Cut the chicken breasts diagonally. They should look like chicken tenders after you cut them. Marinade them in the buttermilk mix for one hour.
In another bowl, combine the flour, poultry seasoning, dry ranch dressing seasoning, the Lowery Seasoning Salt and mix well. Dredge the Turkey pieces through the dry batter and fry until golden brown.
