This recipe is what you will find in your favorite Italian restaurant. This one is simple to make and will make you look like an award winning Italian Chef. I serve it with asparagus and a good wine. Bon appétit! Chef Dief
Ingredients
1 Tsp salt
1 Tsp pepper
1/2 tsp oregano
1/3 cup all purpose flour
4 thinly sliced (pounded to about a 1/4 inch)
1/2 stick of butter
About 10 mushrooms sliced not chopped (approx 1 cup)
4 tbs Olive oil
1/2 cup of Marsala cooking wine
1/4 cup of cooking Sherry
Add the salt, pepper, flour, and mix in a bowl. After pounding the chicken, coat with the flour mixture. Heat the olive oil and brown the chicken breasts. Remove them and add the butter, mushrooms, Sherry and Marsala wine. Stir well and add chicken back to the pan. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Place the breast on the plate and cover with the sauce and mushrooms.
