This Chicken Soup recipe is guaranteed to bring you back to health:
One whole chicken
Carrots
Celery
Onion
Green onion
Tomato
Dill
Salt and pepper
Fill a large pot with water, 2 inches above the Chicken. Boil the Chicken until done (remove the foam as the chicken boils) and remove chicken from the broth (see “tomato” instructions below).
Wait for the chicken to cool and debone the chicken, tearing into bite size pieces, put to the side.
Chop all the vegetables and add to broth. Chop the green onions into 1 inch pieces.
Add chicken pieces, season to taste and add dill, chopped.
NOTE: Add the tomato after you remove the chicken and take out when finished It will absorb grease.
