Cooler weather is right around the corner here in Cenla. That can only mean one thing: we will enjoy spending more time outdoors with family, friends, and neighbors. There isn’t a more fun place to do this than on the lawn of the Kent Plantation House during the annual Tales Along the Bayou storytelling event. Get ready for an exciting night of ghostly tales and ghoulish fun on Friday, October 28, beginning at 6:00 pm.
Children will be on the edge of their seats as storyteller Sylvia Yancy Davis kicks off the night with hair-raising tales perfect for giving younger ones goosebumps. Brush off those goosebumps by singing and dancing with musical entertainers Brian and Terry Kinder from 7:00 pm until 7:30 pm. Then, get ready to have your socks scared right off when storyteller Tobias Taba takes the stage.
