The court was rockin’, as LSUA went up against John Melvin University in their first game of the season. The Generals seemed to have one objective … WIN! And they did that dynamically, 105-56.
The game was a Generals success from both ends of the court. They went into halftime with an impressive 75-33 lead … the Gens had, indeed, come to win it! With 20 turnovers, the outcome was powerful. Sedric Curry stepped up for 9 rebounds, and some other names to mention here are JD Allen (21 points), EJ McQuillan (18 points), and JT Curry (18 points). This was a very good game for new head coach Demario Jackson.
Following the win, Coach Jackson stated: “”I thought we were dominate from start to finish but there are some areas we still need to be better defensively. Offensively, we will get better; but we have to be more aggressive defensively. We expect to be dominant every time out. We will get back to practice in the morning and get ready for Monday.”
