Well, we’re off and running! We can say 318Central.com is faster and better than ever … and we’re constantly growing and going! Thanks, y’all, for your support, it means the world to us!
Everywhere you look, everywhere you are, it’s digital! Your devices make life easier, from picking up your groceries, prescriptions, and even going to the doctor. Most small, local retailers have joined the mix, too. Shopping online continues to grow, but not only with the big box stores. I recently visited a local hardware store that had installed a drive-through window. People are lined up at grocery stores.
Now, more than ever, it’s important to support existing and open new businesses. Be sure to check with your local bank to find out what’s available as far as loans, grants and other funding for maintaining or opening a small business. You’ll be pleasantly surprised!
We are so looking forward to music venues, restaurants, sports and other aspects of our daily living to “begin again.” As information on the vaccines is more readily available and more and more people are taking advantage of the availability, we’re definitely going to see an uptick in many of our favorite pastimes!
We will surely miss Mardi Gras this year. When we get it back, there’s going to be a huge celebration! We will let you know if any of the parishes are having parades.
