The Louisiana Municipal Association held its 86th convention recently in downtown Alexandria at the Randolph Riverfront Center. The LMA is a state service/member organization advocating for all municipalities and two parishes in Louisiana.
It was CenLa’s esteemed honor this year to have Cheneyville mayor, Derrick Johnson, installed as the LMA president. Mayor Johnson was installed at the banquet held August 5th which concluded 3 days of wonderful LMA events in Alexandria. More than 700 people from throughout the state attended.
