Thomas B. Wahlder grew up in Alexandria and went to school at St. James Episcopal, Huddle Elementary, Alexandria Country Day and Menard.
After graduating from high school, he attended Tulane University where he received a B.A. in Political Science.
During his junior year, he was able to attend the London School of Economics in London, England.
After college, he attended LSU and Tulane Law Schools, graduating in 1985.
He began practicing law in New Orleans and moved back to Alexandria in 1990. He has been here ever since! In the past 30 years of practicing law, Tommy says, “I have seen it all.”
