The Louisiana Christian Wildcats traveled to Langston, Oklahoma to face the Langston University Lions in a Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) football game September 16th. The Wildcats came home with the victory over the Lions 35-22, improving to 3-0 this season.
The Wildcats rushed for 331 yards, with Devin Briscoe leading the way with 156 yards rushing and one touchdown. The Wildcats quarterback Sal Palermo III was 11 of 17 passing for 215 Yards and 2 touchdowns.
Leading the way defensively was Tyren Young (SAC Defensive Player Of The Week) with 10 tackles, one tackle for a loss behind the line of scrimmage.
