May 4 is National Lemonade Day and our favorite lemonade makers, Paige and Piper LaCaze are setting up to serve some SPARKLY pink lemonade for a cause on the patio of Mi Tierra in Alexandria from 11 AM-3 PM.
Paige and Piper’s Lemonade Stand has been raising money for Cabrini’s Cancer Center for four years and has raised over $25,000 so far. Their goal for 2025 is $10,000.
This is a pop-up stand for National Lemonade Day, their main fundraising takes place in October during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. But the girls believe awareness should take place year-round and that people always need help when facing the same cancer their own grandmother did.
They also need hope- which is why they are adding edible pink glitter to their lemonade on May 4th!
Paige and Piper’s slogan is Drink Pink for a Cause and the sparkly pink lemonade is free. Donations are accepted.
Mi Tierra is located at 1460 MacArthur Drive, Alexandria. Come in and dine or just stop by the patio after church, or anytime before 3 on Sunday!
