The Links on the Bayou Golf Course is an 18-hole municipal facility in Alexandria, LA that offers a well-conditioned, Championship Golf Course for players of all skill levels.
The course, which opened in 2002, is owned by the City of Alexandria and managed by M2 Mitton Management. There are 5 sets of tees ranging from 5100 to 6800 yards that accommodate beginners and accomplished players alike.
There is also a driving range, putting green, chipping green and short game practice facility where players can refine their skills. The clubhouse offers a full service bar & grill, a well-stocked pro shop and professional lessons for all of your golfing needs.
The Links has been host to numerous tournaments, including state junior events, amateur events, as well as professional events as it hosts the APT (All Pro Tour) every spring.
The Links has also won many awards. Most notably, Golf Digest named Links on the Bayou the #1 Municipal Golf Course in the State of Louisiana in 2009, giving the Links a four star rating! In 2020, the Links also won an Environmental Excellence Award from the American Society of Golf Course Architects for its lake bank
erosion project. The failing wooden bulkheads were removed and replaced with control fabric and limestone rock.
Weekday rates Monday-Thursday are $39 and weekend rates Friday-Sunday are $46, including cart rental. Senior, twilight, military, and first responder discounts are available.
