BIG BROTHER WELCOMES 4 SISTERS AT ONCE

by Jeanni Ritchie

PJ Larry was an only child when his parents Peyton and Farrah decided to have another baby. They thought a girl would make a perfect addition to their cozy family.

They got four!

There was no scientific interference increasing the likelihood of multiples, simply two fertilized eggs that each split into twins. Spontaneous quadruplets, the one in over 700,000 chance occurring in pregnancies. It was an anomaly…and a blessing.

Twins Lyric and Fallyn and twins Paisley and Psalm make up the Larry quads, born on November 20, 2024. Each girl’s name hovers over their crib in their shared room, the closet filled with matching outfits that they will undoubtedly outgrow in mere months. Everything must be multiplied by four.

Sleep is taken in stages, newborn feedings on a continual loop with a playful toddler’s needs to be addressed as well.

I could think of no better parents for the job. The Larrys have a heart for children, owning a company that provides transportation for children in need. Advocacy is at the heart of their mission, and every child deserves love.

While their plan was not to go from a family of three to a family of seven overnight, they have not shied away from the task, becoming a shining example of how to take the Lord’s blessings and use them for His glory, no matter how difficult the road. The needs are great but their faith is greater.

I spent a beautiful winter morning at the Larry’s home in Slidell, playing with PJ and feeding the quads, a game of round robin that left me unsure who I was holding! Each girl had a personalized bracelet around their ankle, though Mom Farrah needed no such tool. They were, after all, her babies, nestled inside her for months as Baby A, B, C, and D.

Younger me would’ve been so envious; I always wanted multiples! Grandma Me wants to visit once a month so she can take a 3-hour nap or visit a grocery store without stacking cans around car seats!

The Larrys are relying on the kindness of strangers to help them through this first year. Donations of diapers, clothes, gas cards, grocery cards, and formula are needed. A GoFundMe account set up through Farrah’s mother can be accessed at https://gofund.me/2de7519e.

A YouTube video of their journey can be found here: https://youtu.be/oCchDINILpE.

My own visit with the Larry family can be viewed at https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT2UttBsM/. I knew I’d met a sister for life when I discovered how much Farrah loved the color orange as well!
