The AVOYELLES ARTS & MUSIC FESTIVAL returns for its 11th year as “Louisiana’s JULY 4TH Destination Festival!” FREE & OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, this daytime festival has a little something for everyone to celebrate the 4th, including LIVE MUSIC with some of Louisiana’s finest musicians (INCLUDING LOUISIANA’S LEROUX, LEON CHAVIS & THE ZYDECO FLAMES, AMANDA SHAW & THE CUTE GUYS, TRAVIS MATTE and ONE TRICK PONY) in addition to arts, crafts and food vendors, a BCA Sanctioned BBQ Cookoff, Car, Truck & Jeep Show, Old Fashioned Bakeoff and a Kidz Zone with all kinds of rides and games for the kids, including interactive art stations! It all kicks off at 10am with Louisiana’s longest running 4TH OF JULY PARADE as recognized by the state. Festival grounds open at 10am on the grounds surrounding Broken Wheel Brewery at 109 Tunica Drive East in Marksville. PLEASE NO ICE CHESTS, OUTSIDE ALCOHOL OR GOLF CARTS.
