In a celebration of community, health, and philanthropy, Historic Downtown Natchitoches will set the stage for the 6th Annual Steel Magnolia Run on March 16, 2024. The event, organized by the Natchitoches Regional Medical Center Foundation, promises a day filled with camaraderie, fitness, and support for a crucial cause.
The Steel Magnolia Run is not just a 5K; it’s a heartfelt initiative to rally behind the NRMC Cancer Center. All proceeds from the run will be directed towards cancer center initiatives as we continue to takes steps towards advancing the quality of cancer treatment in Natchitoches Parish.
Participants will have the option to choose between a 1-mile walk/run and a 5K walk/run. The scenic route along the Historic Downtown Natchitoches Riverbank will provide a picturesque backdrop for the event. Participants will receive a swag bag filled with goodies and a custom Steel Magnolia Run T-shirt, serving as a tangible reminder of their contribution to a great cause.
Beyond the physical challenge, runners will be running for a cause close to their hearts, knowing that their involvement directly contributes to enhancing healthcare services in Natchitoches Parish. The Steel Magnolia Run invites the community to lace up their running shoes, join the cause, and make a difference.
