RIBEYE STEAK HOUSE HOSTS WELCOME PARTY

by Jeanni Ritchie

When Yusef “Joe” Hamideh set his sights on the Rue Verdun restaurant that had been sitting vacant for years, he had one goal in mind: upscale dining.

Over the years, Hamideh opened and sold many successful restaurants in Central Louisiana, including NY Pizza and Philly’s. But he listened to what residents wanted and the choice was clear.  They wanted a good steakhouse in an elegant setting with a premium salad bar.

That’s exactly what he’s delivered.

Opening April 19, Ribeye Steak House has churned out sizzling steaks and mouthwatering sides to hundreds of delighted diners.

On April 27, Hamideh threw a welcome to CenLa party, inviting many of the friends, contractors, and officials who helped bring Ribeye Steak House to life.

Wine was flowing, steaks were grilling, and hot homemade cheese bread was delivered to each table.

Everyone was satisfied.

“It was phenomenal. Food was great; steak was well cooked,” Jimmy Ayesh said.

“The flavor was extraordinary. There were great portions and the quality of the meat stood out,” Jordanna Yorieh shared.

Conversation flowed freely, the sound of silverware and glassware clinking in the background. I met some new people, a couple of former co-workers, and even an APD co-worker of my dad’s who remembered my less-than-angelic teen years! That conversation could’ve been titled “When Good Girls Go Bad and Then Turn Good Again.” I love this community!

So does owner Joe, whose thankfulness was served in delicious plates a-plenty to his guests.

“Thanks for your support in getting this restaurant off the ground. We look forward to serving Central Louisiana the finest steaks around. Come for a special occasion or just a good meal.”

With food and service like this, Ribeye Steak House will be around for many years to come.
