The Avoyelles Arts Council celebrated the culinary arts at its 9th annual Pop Up dining experience at the beautiful home of Dr. Celeste and Mr. Ben Luke, with special guest, Chef Matthew Morgan, executive chef at the Hotel Bentley.
Approximately seventy lucky guests were treated to a special menu and wine pairing that included such inspired gems as a grilled peach bruschetta and a coconut braised lamb with featured wines that included Graham Norton’s GN Sauvignon Blanc and a sensational Beaune 1er Cru Grand Bourgogne that was the undisputed star of the show.
The annual event is one of the standout fundraisers for the Avoyelles Arts Council and occurs each spring.
