Brought To You By Journey Church
Easter is more than just a holiday; it’s the foundation of our faith and the greatest news the world has ever heard. The resurrection of Jesus Christ isn’t just an event in history—it’s a life-changing reality that gives us hope, purpose, and a future.
The empty tomb means that sin and death have been defeated. “He is not here; He has risen, just as He said” (Matthew 28:6). In a world filled with uncertainty, brokenness, and pain, Easter reminds us that God’s love is greater than our struggles. No matter what we’ve been through or what burdens we carry, the resurrection declares that hope is alive.
When Jesus rose from the dead, He didn’t just prove His power—He opened the door for us to experience new life. “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die” (John 11:25). The same power that raised Christ from the grave is available to us today. It’s the power to heal, restore, and transform.
Maybe you feel stuck, lost, or far from God. The good news of Easter is that Jesus came to bring you back into a relationship with Him. “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). You don’t have to have it all together—He simply invites you to come as you are.
This Easter, I encourage you to reflect on what the resurrection means for you. It’s more than tradition; it’s an invitation to experience the love and grace of Jesus in a personal way.
At Journey Church, we would love to celebrate Easter with you. Whether you’ve been in church for years or haven’t stepped inside one in a long time, there’s a place for you here. Come and experience the hope that changes everything.
