After an exciting Christmas vacation on assignment, I thought coming home for the holidays would be a bit of a letdown. It turned out to be quite the opposite. Deeming my new adventure #hometownChristmas, I discovered that Central Louisiana had way more holiday events than I could possibly attend.
Schools had their annual choir and band Christmas concerts, theatres had holiday shows, the movie theater ran new and classic Christmas flicks, art galleries and museums had holiday exhibits, dance studios had Christmas recitals, and popular attractions like the Alexandria Zoo, Kees Park, and Christmas on the Ranch had their annual light displays.
It is a magical time of year and every corner of Cenla was celebrating. I was right there celebrating as well, finding the joy of my hometown during those most wonderful time of the year!
