“The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time” is a groundbreaking play that follows Christopher Boone, a 15-year-old boy with an extraordinary mind. Christopher, who is neurodivergent, excels at mathematics but struggles with social interactions and navigating everyday life. When he discovers his neighbor’s dog, Wellington, has been killed, Christopher sets out to solve the mystery of who committed the crime. His detective work, however, leads him on an unexpected journey that uncovers long-buried family secrets and forces him to confront the complexities of the world around him. As Christopher’s investigation unfolds, the audience is taken inside his mind—experiencing his unique way of perceiving the world through striking visual effects, immersive sound design, and inventive staging. Poignant, humorous, and deeply moving, “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time” is a powerful exploration of difference, family, and the courage it takes to find one’s place in an often overwhelming world.
