Does anyone else think of Yolanda Hadid when they hear the word LEMONS?! The former Mrs. David Foster and mom to supermodels Bella and Gigi spent 4 seasons on Bravo extolling the virtues of the citrusy fruit.
But visitors to Sunflower Van Geaux last month weren’t there to eat or even clean with lemons, they were there to paint them!
Lemons was a public painting event, where artists and their families learned little tips and tricks on how to paint.
Lonnie Ryland joined his daughter Lacie and granddaughter Piper at the paint party, along with his niece and her friend. Other families joined as well for a full studio of artists. Painters are encouraged to bring their own food and drinks, along with their friends and family for a total experience.
Sunflower Van Geaux ART Studio is located in the center of the Plaza 28 building. The address is 6501 Coliseum Blvd, Alexandria. They provide everything you need art lessons and paint party events. You need only bring your creativity and enjoy the artistic atmosphere!
“Everyone is an artist! It may not look like mine, but it’s not supposed to! I love how everyone’s painting ends up as their own version of the same painting with their own style added to it,” owner Allie Robertson shares.
Other paint parties in July included Watercolor Chicken, Watercolor Magnolia, Flip Flop Beach, Boba, Watercolor Lavender, Monkey D Lufi, Heart Cavern, Ice Cream, Digital Donuts, Highland Cow, and Lab Cat.
Private parties are offered as well.
