I stopped by CC’s Coffee House in Pineville for a slice of cinnamon walnut coffee cake for my mom, a large fresh brew for my daughter Kelsey, a pup cup for the day’s shotgun rider Amora, and a cake ball for me to enjoy later that day as a reward for a post-marathon cleaning session.
Spoiler alert: it made it all the way home but was still gone before I ever touched the broom!
Mom loved her cake, Amora loved her pup cup, and Kelsey loved her still-hot coffee even though it was another 30 minutes before I dropped it off at her work. They must have the “Stanley” of insulated cups!
Choosing the pastries was no small task, either. They had a case lined up with delicious treats. I couldn’t resist the chocolate salted caramel cake balls and debated between the Cinnamon Walnut Coffee Cake and the seasonal Pumpkin Spice one. (I ended up bringing both home!)
Other menu items include handcrafted espresso drinks like the Turtle Latte, White Mocha, and Crème Brûlée Latte, along with seasonal specialties such as Pumpkin Pie Latte, French Toast Mochasippi®, and Birthday Cake Cold Foam Brew. For something savory, guests can grab a Bacon, Egg & Cheese Croissant, Maple Waffle Breakfast Sandwich, or Spinach & Feta Croissant. Fresh pastries—muffins, scones, cookies, and cinnamon rolls—line the display case each morning. CC’s also offers cold brews by the gallon, kombucha in Dragon Fruit Guava and Strawberry Honey flavors, and bottled beverages like Simply Orange Juice and GIVN Water.
The atmosphere was friendly and inviting, the perfect way to start your day or stop in for a midday pick-me-up. The caffeine is great, but even that pales in comparison to the service if you’re looking for a jolt of joy!
