Everyone served by Evergreen Life Services in the Central Louisiana division enjoyed some summer fun during our annual Friends and Family Day! They had a great time at the Alexandria Zoo, thanks to a parent of someone served.
This vibrant event included a thrilling train ride, delicious food, and a much-appreciated opportunity for friends and family to reconnect. Each community home brought a picnic for themselves and their family members.
Family support plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall quality of life for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, resulting in improved outcomes in various aspects of life, including medical care, behavioral support, daily living assistance, and emotional well-being.
Evergreen works to remove barriers to inclusion through community activities, while encouraging strong family involvement.
