Your library card may be one of the most underrated travel tools in Louisiana.
Through the Rapides Parish Library’s museum pass program, cardholders can reserve free admission to a variety of museums across the state. The passes function much like checking out a book — simple to reserve, easy to use, and full of opportunity for day trips, weekend outings, and meaningful exploration.
Depending on the location, library users may reserve one or two passes per year. Passes can typically be presented on your phone or printed ahead of time.
New Orleans (Orleans Parish)
