The Junior League of Alexandria is once again bringing the magic of the holidays to Central Louisiana with its annual “A Very Merry Market,” happening October 9–11 at the Randolph Riverfront Center. This much-anticipated weekend combines shopping, seasonal cheer, and community impact, all under one festive roof.
Guests will find a wide selection of handcrafted goods, artisan gifts, fashion, home décor, and holiday treats, along with raffles, entertainment, and plenty of festive surprises. Whether you’re checking names off your gift list or simply soaking up the holiday spirit, the market offers something for everyone—while also supporting the Junior League’s mission to empower women and improve lives across Central Louisiana.
The celebration begins on Thursday, October 9, with the always-popular pre-shopping event. This year’s theme is Off with Their Heels. VIP guests can kick off the evening at 6 p.m. with cocktails, boutique shopping, royal revelry, and an exclusive swag bag, while general admission opens at 7 p.m.
Friday, October 10, brings two more special events: A Very Merry Mah-Jong at 10 a.m., and Mad Mixology with Denise Jeansonne at 6 p.m. General shopping hours run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Saturday is all about the kids, with “Tea & Treats in Wonderland Suites.” Little dreamers can meet Alice, her princess friends, and even a few superhero guests while enjoying sweet treats and photo ops fit for royalty.
