AIR FRYER APPLE CRISPS

Ingredients:

• 2 large Honeycrisp apples
• 1 tsp lemon juice
• 2 tbsp granulated sugar
• 2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions:

1. Wash and core the apples. Slice them thinly (about 1/8 inch) using a mandolin or sharp knife.
2. Prevent Browning: Toss apple slices with lemon juice in a large bowl to prevent apples from browning. 
3. In a small bowl, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon. 
4. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar over the apple slices, tossing to distribute evenly.
5. Set the air fryer to 300°F and preheat for 3 minutes.
6. Place apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket or on one tray. Work in batches if needed. Air fry for 15-20 minutes, flipping
halfway, until crisp and golden brown. I found 20 minutes in my fryer) Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
7. Remove from the air fryer and let them cool completely—they will crisp up as they cool. Enjoy as a healthy snack!

**I had some that stayed softer. My one grandson liked them soft. His dad liked them crispier. Either way they are a great snack.
