Marksville native, Lisa Bordelon, daughter of Catherine Roy and Ronny Bordelon of Marksville, and niece of Van Roy, has been named to Forbes’ prestigious list of Top Women Wealth Advisors, according to a press release issued by the magazine on April 27, 2020.
Bordelon, who lives and works in Dallas, TX, is a financial advisor and owner of Bordelon Capital Wealth Management, a Raymond James affiliated firm. The Forbes ranking of America’s Top Women Wealth Advisors is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria, mostly gained from due diligence interviews and quantitative data including algorithm weights factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and those that encompass best practices in their practices and approach to working with clients. Out of approximately 32,000 nominations, 1,000 advisors received the award.
Bordelon joined Raymond James in 2012 and has more than 18 years of experience in the financial services industry.
