Band Bio
The BlindFold Blues Band (formerly The 4th Street Blues Band) is a dynamic Blues/Blues Rock, Funk, Jazz and Soul Fusion band. The band was originally formed in early 2011 on the street corner of 4th Street & Desoto outside the Tamp & Grind Coffee Shop in downtown Alexandria, LA., and grew quickly in popularity and became part of the root efforts to help spark independant live outdoor entertainment growth while promoting the revitalization of downtown Alexandria, including RiverFetes, IndieFetes, Winterfetes, various charitable functions and local downtown businesses and venues.

Mark Purcell, drums & vocals
John Jacob Perkins ‘Hippie’, bass guitar & vocals
The band is frequently known to feature local and out of town guest appearances, so you never know who will show up and join in on the music.
