The Salute to Healthcare Heroes Concert was special to The Moondogs on so many levels. First, we were so proud to do our part to show our appreciation to the folks that are on the frontlines of this terrible pandemic every day.
Secondly, it felt fulfilling and cathartic to be back on that stage where we’ve appeared so many times playing the music we love for the people we love. It was wonderful to see the smiles on so many of your faces. You could tell that you all needed the release, as well. It made it that much better that we got to perform again with our good friend, Wayne Toups.
We know this virus is far from over and we still have some dark times to go through, but I think we can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and we hope that we were able to give the “Healthcare Heroes” a little bit of happiness and respite from a very stressful job.
