Meet Dustin. Dustin came to us as a crisis admission. Dustin was born with Noonan’s syndrome and is currently diagnosed with stage 4 kidney failure. He lived in a center for neglected and abused children after being abandoned by his family and then removed from his foster mother’s care, who could not handle all of Dustin’s medical needs.
Since Dustin’s admission to Evergreen, his health has remained stable. He loves to draw, play video games, and go on community outings with his housemates. He has an amazing imagination and can tell some fantastic stories. He is always in good spirits with a smile on his face! His favorite TV show is The Walking Dead! He would like to take a trip to Hollywood one day!
He enjoys attending Tioga High School and is proud of the senior jacket he received this year because he says, “I earned it!” He has dreams of getting a job in a store after graduation.
