Amy Salter, an individual receiving services from Evergreen, loves to travel. She dreamed of going to Hawaii! With your help and support of vital programs, Amy enjoyed the trip of a lifetime! Making dreams come true is our mission at Evergreen!
Amy has been with Evergreen for thirty years. Individuals living in a community home become family, and Amy is the big sister to her roommates. She is a role model to other individuals as she grows in her independence and contributions to the community.
Through the support of a dedicated staff team, Amy developed skills that allowed her to obtain and maintain competitive employment, budget, and focus on reaching her goals. She loves her job at a local Burger King, where she can earn a fair wage and make friends in the community!
Evergreen provides access to life skills training to each individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities we serve. Without your financial gifts, the individuals in our care would not have access to opportunities needed for an abundant life many of us take for granted.
Not everyone dreams of going to Hawaii, but whatever their dream is, we work to make it come true! We cannot do it without people like you!
