If you have not fertilized, it’s just about time! I love this time of year when the weather starts to warm up, things start to bloom, we’re planting flowers, and my not so favorite, spring cleaning. The forecasters say about a 27% chance of rain (on average, per day) in Louisiana in March, but we all know how that can change in a silly second, so if you can slip that fertilizing in just before the rain, that’s the ticket!
Area colleges have so much going on right now. Look for stories and information about all the different programs and happenings and be reminded of the valuable assets these schools are to our area. Be sure to check out the newest category in our website drop down menu, “Higher Education In Cenla,” for some of the wonderful events, improvments, and general goings-on at our area schools.
Please take a look at our cookbook and local places to eat. There are a plethora of recipes we’ve brought you over the years in our drop down menu at your “318Central.com Cookbook,” and we have lots of featured restaurants in Central Louisiana under “Menus From Area Restaurants.” If you are looking for an old favorite or a new place to eat, so many are listed right there for your convenience.
Thank you! Remember, when you’re buying that fertilizer, please make sure you visit a local vendor, get to know them, make a new friend. Don’t forget to give somebody a hug and tell them you love them …
Until next time, Dief
