The Natchitoches Young Professionals (NYP), an initiative of the Natchitoches Area Chamber of Commerce, is set to host its 8 th annual NYP Pub Crawl on Saturday, March 18, 2023, in downtown Natchitoches. The NYP Pub Crawl is open to anyone over the age of 21 with a valid driver’s license.
This crawl is also a Poker Run, with prizes awarded to the best poker hand, best individual costume, and best group costume at the end of the night. Additional door prizes will be drawn throughout the evening (all crawlers who turn in a completed poker card are eligible for prizes).
Each crawler will receive an event t-shirt, a goody bag, and access to food and drink specials. Early bird registration is $35 per person until January 29, $40 per person starting January 30, and $45 per person after March 01. You can register at NatchitochesChamber.com/Crawlthebricks.
An NYP Pub Crawl packet pick-up will be held on Friday, March 17 at Flying Heart Brewing & Pub (108 Mill Street). Registrants will be able to pick up their registration packets & t-shirts at that time. Those not able to pick up at Flying Heart Brewing & Pub will be able to check in at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 18 at the registration table.
This year’s Pub Crawl attendees will be entertained by Jordan Kahn’s Band Manhattan. Manhattan is a highly energetic band with all your favorite hits. From the Top ’40s to crowd-pleasing classics, you will wish the party won’t end! This 10-piece band, full of talented and seasoned musicians will make for an electrifying performance that everyone will love.
The NYP Pub Crawl continues to have a positive impact on local businesses and the community. Last year’s event drew over 380 “crawlers” to the downtown area. Most attendees came from around the state of Louisiana, east Texas, and west Mississippi. Last year’s Pub Crawl had an estimated impact of $360,000 on the Natchitoches business community. “We are very excited to continue to host this spring event in Natchitoches Parish,” said Dustin Dauzat, NYP Vice-Chair and Director of Development for the Natchitoches Area Chamber of Commerce. “Our goal is to get around 500 crawlers this year, this is a great way to kick off the event season in Natchitoches.”
