One such flourishing establishment in Pineville’s Edgewood neighborhood is The Salon LLC. It’s located in a building that once served as a violin and guitar repair shop for the local school district. Lynn Glaze, the salon’s owner, wanted to retain most of the original elements of the 1,600-square-foot space, but also bring the beauty of the outdoors inside. The cypress wood finish was preserved, and numerous windows and French doors were added to allow the natural light in, as well as fresh air and breathtaking views. “The stylists and clients can enjoy a beautiful reflection of the woods with the mirrors that suspend from the ceiling at the stations,” Glaze says.
The salon also boasts three outdoor decks that are used for daily relaxation and special guest events. Their recent innovative addition of “hAIR CUTs” in the Fresh Air on the deck offer a special ambiance to the process in an outdoor setting. Consultations are performed on software created by Glaze with input from her staff and clients; this unique approach allows for the absolute best end result. Each step is taken with you in mind!
