MARCH EVENTS IN LOUISIANA

As the temps (hopefully) rise, calendars overflow with events for you and your loved ones. From free library programming to special events at the Rapides Parish Coliseum and Cajundome, from Mardi Gras celebrations to nonprofit fundraisers, there is something for everyone. Here are 75 March events in Louisiana to check out:

3/7-3/8: Team Kowen Weekend: Talent Show, T-Shirt Design Contest, Art Show and Auction, Cake Walk, Chili Cook-Off, and More. Christian Challenge Worship Center, 300 Pearce Road, Pineville. 3/8: Reading on the River, 10 AM – 1 PM, Downtown Natchitoches. Free books, literacy event hosted by the Service League of Natchitoches and Cane River National Heritage Area 

3/8-3/9: LA Comic Con, Cajundome, Lafayette

3/10: Kid’s Social Hour, Martin Luther King, Jr. branch, 4-5 PM. Socialize with peers and create a faux-stained glass 3-leaf clover. 1115 Broadway Ave. Alexandria

3/14: MOVIE RELEASE: The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie

3/14: Omnium Circus, Heymann Performing Arts Center, Lafayette, 7:30 PM. Truly a one-of-kind circus with inclusivity and diversity in  its performances. 

3/14: Dancing With the Stars, hosted by Alexandria Country Day, Randolph Riverfront Center, 6-9 PM

3/15: Musical Bingo: 1970’s, 11 AM- Noon, Johnson Branch. Interactive bingo game! 1610 Veterans Branch, Lecompte. 

3/15: Neighbor to Neighbor, First United Methodist Church. Mission project to build two needed wheelchair ramps for community members. Contact Brandon @btubbs@fumca.org to participate.
