It had been a long weekend and no one felt like cooking. The Krunchy Grill had been gaining traction on social media, and was right on my way home. I stopped for some take-out.
With a varied menu, I decided to bring a little bit of everything back home for a family tasting.
A dark chicken meal with fries, chicken tenders with macaroni and cheese, jambalaya, a Philly cheesesteak, fried shrimp, and honey butter biscuits lined the table, as we each sampled a little bit of everything.
The stars of the table for me were the chicken tenders and honey butter biscuits by a country mile. Mom agreed with me. Dad enjoyed the dark meat chicken and Philly cheesesteak the most.
We all have different tastes, and Krunchy Grill accommodates a wide variety of palates. In addition to the jumbo chicken tenders and highly-rated Philly Cheesesteak, they offer burgers, chicken baskets, wings, fried shrimp, fish plates, Cajun chicken sandwiches, nuggets, fries, onion rings, jambalaya, red beans and rice, mashed potatoes and gravy, macaroni and cheese, biscuits, milkshakes, and family meals large enough to feed a crowd. Their Krunch Boxes combine favorites like tenders, nuggets, sandwiches, or chicken with sides and biscuits, making them perfect for quick lunches or easy take-home dinners.
The food was prepared fresh, and the service was amazing. You won’t find friendlier workers anywhere. That alone deserves a return visit. (Maybe just for a dozen of those biscuits!)
Special desserts are delivered each day straight from a New Orleans bakery—they sell out quickly! They’d also introduced Red Bull Refreshers shortly before my visit, with flavors like Orange, Blue Raspberry, and Peach.
Located in Skye Mart, Krunchy Grill is the perfect place to pick up dinner for your family, or even stop in for a quick bite while running errands. There are plenty of tables for dining in and call-ahead orders can be placed.
