Talking With… a comedy/ drama by Jane Martin, is a collection of sharp, bittersweet portraits of women, many of whom have reacted to disappointments by melting into private worlds. Idiosyncratic characters amuse, move, and frighten, always speaking from the depths of their souls. These extraordinary monologues include a baton twirler, a fundamentalist snake handler, an ex-rodeo rider, an actress willing to go to any length to get a job, and more.
Talking With… will be performed Thursdays through Sundays from January 30th to February 9th on the Hearn Stage at the Kress Theatre. Thursday through Saturday performances begin at 7:30 PM, and Sunday matinees begin at 2:30 PM.
General Admission tickets are $15, Senior (60+) & Military tickets are $12, Students tickets are $7, and Thursday night tickets are only $5.

City Park Players present:
“Unnecessary Farce” by Paul Slade Smith
March 26 – April 5
COMEDY/FARCE – Two cops. Three crooks. Eight doors. Go. In a cheap
motel room, an embezzling mayor is supposed to meet with his female
accountant, while in the room next-door, two undercover cops wait to
catch the meeting on videotape. But there’s some confusion as to who’s
in which room, who’s being videotaped, who’s taken the money, who’s
hired a hit man, and why the accountant keeps taking off her clothes.
Directed by: Jim Weinzettle, Maura Herholdsheimer, & Teresa Louis
