Many years ago I read an ANONYMOUS piece called A COACHES PRAYER. It reminds me so much of how Coach Tony Robichaux conducted his life.
“Heavenly Father, you called me to a position of great responsibility as a coach of young men. Keep me aware of my obligation to help prepare them in every game that I coach them, and to prepare them for their place in life, and to teach them to be mindful of their duties to God, themselves and others. I pray, God, that you give me patience and understanding in dealing with the players that you have entrusted to my care.
Help me so in this community, that both the parents and children may see that God lives in me and them.”
THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES COACH!
